Friday 22nd June 2018, 9.30 am to 6 pm CoLRiC, the Council for Learning Resources in Colleges, is pleased to announce its 25th anniversary conference The Road Travelled: Surviving and Flourishing 25 years on - to be held at University College Birmingham on Friday 22nd June 2018, 9.30 am to 6 pm. Conference topics: We're delighted to announce that our keynote speaker is Nick Poole, CEO of CILIP. The day will also feature awards ceremonies/presentations and a choice of breakout sessions/workshops on a range of topics including: Supporting literacy in a library context Supporting numeracy in a library context The Trailblazer Project ñ a new framework and associated qualification aimed at para-professionals CILIP Information Literacy Groupís new definition for Information Literacy JISC ñ an update on the Staff Digital Capability pilot The transition from FE to HE The importance of learning resource centres and library services in FE The day will conclude with a drinks and canap's reception giving you the opportunity to network with colleagues from across country.
