Post Title:   CoLRiC Administrator
Post Salary:   £12,000
Responsible to:   Chairperson / Executive Committee of CoLRiC

The information given below is intended to provide an understanding and appreciation of the job and its role for CoLRiC.

Main Purposes of the Post
To work in conjunction with the Chairperson, Executive Committee and members to ensure the smooth administrative functioning of CoLRiC.

1. Communication

  1. To provide an initial point of contact
  2. To be the focal point for information and communication
  3. To inform members and correspondents of decisions
  4. Co-ordination of CoLRiC website

2. Meeting Management

  1. Attending all committee and other appropriate meetings
  2. Keep records of all meetings
  3. To work in conjunction with the Chairperson and Secretary to compile and distribute meeting agendas and the planning cycle
  4. Assist with the administration of Conference & the Organising  Day

3. Administration and Finances

  1. Buying and arranging printing of all stationery etc. for the smooth running of the ‘office’
  2. Analysing membership, web site usage etc.
  3. Receiving, checking and banking all money           
  4. Keeping financial records of income on computer
  5. Producing monthly financial income statements
  6. Send details and documents to the treasurer
  7. To support and liase on matters related to conference organisation
  8. Keeping archives

4. Publicity

  1. To liaise with those responsible for various marketing initiatives and provide continuity of contact
  2. To assist in the compilation and maintenance of lists of contacts for publicity and press releases
  3. To have publicity printed as requested by the committee

5. Membership

  1. To keep the membership database up to date and maintain accurate membership records
  2. To manage enquiries from members and initially respond to queries arising from membership
  3. To send renewal notices and invoices and deal with all renewals
  4. To follow up unpaid invoices, creating copy invoices where required

6. Peer Accreditation Scheme

  1. Managing all aspects of the procedure within timescale
  2. Dealing with college queries and requests for registration and assessment
  3. Checking and approving all aspects of the initial documentation and applications
  4. Editing and sending out accreditation reports

7. Surveys

  1. To manage the survey circle
  2. To collate and analysis data
  3. To inform committee and membership

You will be expected to work to a professional standard and keep up to date.
