CoLRiC 25th anniversary conference - Friday 22nd June 2018

CoLRiC is pleased to announce its 25th anniversary conference 'The Road Travelled: Surviving and Flourishing 25 years on' - to be held at University College Birmingham on Friday 22nd June 2018, 9.30 am to 6 pm.

Our keynote speaker is Nick Poole, CEO of CILIP. The day will also feature awards ceremonies/presentations and a choice of breakout sessions/workshops on a range of topics including:

2018 is a special year for CoLRiC - it's our 25th anniversary.

A celebratory conference is being held at University College Birmingham on Friday 22nd June and we really hope you and your colleagues can join us.

Reminder - and an extended March 29th deadline - Best Practice Awards 2018

Late last year we launched the fourth round of the CoLRiC Best Practice Awards. The BPAs acknowledge and celebrate innovative ideas in FE library/learning resource service provision.

We’re aware how busy everybody is as we approach Easter so have extended the deadline for entries to Thursday March 29th, 2018.

Winners will be announced on the 7th May 2018. As it’s CoLRiC's 25th anniversary year, the winner in each category will also receive a £250 cash prize.

Call for news and articles to feature in Quality Impact magazine

We'd like to invite contributions from members towards the next edition of 'Quality Impact', CoLRiC's online magazine. Let us know if you have any interesting news. Perhaps you'd like to share a success story or a project outcome with lessons learned?

Reminder - Call to participate in the CoLRiC 2018 Performance and Impact Indicators (PII) survey

This is CoLRiC’s sixteenth annual Performance and Impact Indicators survey. Please help make the survey as valuable as possible by participating.
The deadline for responses is the end of July 2018 and the report will be published in early Autumn. A copy will be emailed to everyone who participates.

Thanking Sue Woolmer and introducing our new Administrators

Sue Woolmer, who has been CoLRIC’s Administrator for seven years, has now officially retired. The CoLRIC Committee would like to express its gratitude to Sue for her wonderful work in supporting the Committee and the membership. We wish her a happy retirement.

Goodbye from Sue Woolmer

At the end of the week I am retiring as CoLRiC Administrator. It has been a privilege to support CoLRiC in this way for the last 7 years and I am very grateful to all CoLRiC members, past and present, for making this time so rewarding and enjoyable. I wish you all the very best for the future!
