 CoLRiC BEACON AWARD . CoLRiC is pleased to announce that the winner of the 2009 Beacon Award for the Effective Integration of Libraries/Learning Resources Centres in Curriculum Delivery is Exeter College. CoLRiC sponsors a Beacon award every other year. This prestigious award aims to promote and encourage good practice and high standards in libraries/learning resources centres in colleges and to enhance their potential as areas that contribute to the delivery of the college’s curriculum. For more information please click on the link above.

COLRIC MEMBERSHIP SURVEY. Between May and June 2009, CoLRiC carried out its first membership survey.  We wanted to get feedback from our members to help review our objectives and activities, to ensure we are cost effective,  up to date and responsive to member’s needs. PERFORMANCE AND IMPACT INDICATORS. The survey was first carried out in 2003 and is now in its seventh year. The results for the 2009 survey are now available and can be viewed in Performance Indicators Survey Results in the member's area: click here.

SELF-ASSESSMENT TOOLKIT. CoLRiC has been working together with CoHFE to produce a toolkit to support self assessment for Learning Resources Services in Further Education Colleges in England. Click on the link above to view the toolkit.

  PEER ACCREDITATION AND CERTIFICATION  is where CoLRiC assessors go into colleges and assess their learning resources service.  It is intended to assist colleges create and maintain high quality services, and contribute to their 'accreditation portfolio'.

Members of CoLRiC are automatically registered on our information and discussion forum on JISCMAIL, where everything posted to the forum is circulated to all members.
