CoLRiC is an independent organisation working with library and learning resources centre managers in further education, sixth form colleges and the HE in FE sector to enhance and maintain excellence in their services.

Membership of CoLRiC is open to any further education or sixth form college in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

CoLRiC PII survey 2017

We have launched CoLRiC’s fifteenth annual performance and impact indicators survey. As in previous years the survey is in two parts: the user count and questions for staff and students. We hope members will support the survey as the more responses we receive, the more useful the findings will be. Details and survey.

CoLRiC Best Practice Awards 2017

We are delighted to launch the third round of the CoLRiC Best Practice Awards. Entries are now open and once again we are on the hunt for some of the most innovative ideas in FE library/learning resource service provision.The deadline for entries is the 27th March, with winners being announced on the 28th April 2017. Sixth form college survey 2016/17

The deadline for our third survey of sixth form college library/learning resource services has been extended. We hope as many sixth form colleges as possible will participate in order to provide a great benchmarking tool. Details

Save the date

The days may be getting colder and Christmas may be approaching, but our thoughts are with the Spring and next year’s CoLRiC events! The 2017 events will focus on two themes: digital literacy and preparing for Ofsted (and QAA). As ever, they are a great opportunity to network and share best practice. New EC members

We are delighted to announce that Jon Hofgartner and Andy Eachus have joined the CoLRiC Executive Committee. Jon is Technology and Library Services Team Leader at Weston College, current winner of the CoLRiC/AoC Beacon Award and Andy has recently joined Salford City College as Digital Learning Manager.
